ABILITIES: Archer possesses the psiot ability to replicate and master any ability, fighting style, language or weapon by tapping into the Akashic Field, humanity’s collective consciousness.

The Archers, Congresswoman Thelma and Reverend Joseph, were the founders of the Dominion, a political ring-wing conservative Christian Group. They took an interest in young Obadiah when a standardized testing program revealed that he possessed psiot abilities, and took him to be raised as their son alongside many brothers and sisters, all trained to assassinate the Dominion’s greatest enemy, Aram Anni-Padda. As “Obie” surpassed his siblings in training, he was led to believe he was the only biological son of the founders, to further cement his loyalty.
The Dominion is part of the Sect, an ancient organization funded in Ancient Egypt by ministers of public works, police, treasury, and granaries to study and obtain the Boon. The Sect first became aware of the Boon during the reign of Pharaoh Akhenaten, when Aram (a court poet at the time) designed “The Wheel of Aten” based on what he remembered of it (due to an incident involving time travel, the Boon was actually created based on Aram’s design of the Wheel of Aten, making a stable time loop). The Sect is a collective composed of different organizations and secret societies, like the Dominion, the One-Percent, the Sisters of Perpetual Darkness, and The Null.
Upon meeting Armstrong, Obadiah learnt that his parents weren’t really following the religion he had been taught, but, rather, wanted power for themselves, and they would stop at nothing to attain it, even sacrificing his siblings. Subsequently he teamed up with Armstrong to dismantle the Dominion and the shadowy conspiracy pulling its strings. Currently, Archer is coming to terms with his newfound immortality, gained by using the last Golden Apple, infused with Boon technology. Meanwhile, Armstrong’s own immortality has been waning for some time.
Mary-Maria was another one of the children brought up by the Archers, a conflicted child, second only to Obadiah in skills, who once tried to run away from the theme park where they grew up, and later became their parents’ most loyal defender. Instructed to gain access to the Sisters of Perpetual Darkness in the race to gather all six components of the Boon, she eventually became their leader, Sister Superior.
OTHER DETAILS: Both Obadiah and Mary-Maria have been possessed by the Last Enemy, a sentient equation capable of reprograming host bodies.
