REAL NAME: ABRAM ADAMS

ALIAS: Divinity.

ABILITIES: Divinity can wrap matter and reality at will; he has used this power to give people what they desire the most.

KNOWN ASSOCIATIONS: Motherland/Russia (formerly); Unity; Myshka.

Abram Adams began life as a foundling abandoned on the doorsteps of the Russian Foreign Minister in the winter of 1945. Raised by adoptive parents loyal to the Communist Party until their deaths, he became a ward of the State, who raised him to serve the Motherland when he came of age.

Although he spent many hours reading fiction — even venturing into banned literature — he became a Cosmonaut at a young age. By 1960, he was ready for the mission that would put Russia at the forefront of the Space Race; exploring the very edge of all that is known.

He and two other Cosmonauts — Valentina Volkov and Kazmir — traveled for over 30 years (not aging a day due to hypersleep) to reach what they called the Unknown. Adams was the first one changed by his contact with this undiscovered place and left his teammates — believing them dead — to return to the girlfriend and unborn child he left behind on Earth.

Since three decades had gone by, the world he found was very different from the one he left. MI-6’s Neville Alcott dispatched a Unity formation consisting of Ninjak, Livewire, X-O Manowar, and the Eternal Warrior to contain the being who now called himself Divinity. Aric expressed concern over their mission, since it seemed all Divinity had done was create a paradise in the Australian Outback and people sought him out of their own volition.

Eventually, Divinity handed himself in, choosing to remain in G.A.T.E.’s custody while he reflected upon the time passed on Earth and the family whose lives he wasn’t a part of anymore.

Divinity resurfaced when Volkov — a.k.a. Myshka — returned to force Russia to the highest place of power on Earth and beyond. Ultimately, he succeeded in reminding her that it is kindness, and not violence, that makes a greater impact on people.

Unbeknownst to either, Myshka had become host to Kazmir, who used her powers to bend reality to twist existence into a timeline known as the Stalinverse that reflected his patriotically political views. But me and Toyo Harada still remembered the real history of this Earth, and managed to teach others and restore our reality. Although some changes were inevitable, such as the creation of the Red Brigade (a counterpart to Unity). My successor, Ninja-L, was killed during this incursion. —Ninjak

Divinity and Myshka found peace in the rural area of Russia, where they happily welcomed a baby. Soon, however, they discovered he was destined to become the Observer of the Unknown, tasked with maintaining balance between the sides of the past-lighters and the future-lighters.

OTHER DETAILS: Both Divinity and Myshka have a hand for gardening.

While Divinity and Myshka reportedly returned to Earth to resume their domestic life, when Ivar, the Timewalker, thought of Divinity to help him with the wellsprings Doctor Silk used to avert the end of mortal life, he dispatched X-O Manowar into outer space to find him.
